Quarantine Must-Haves & Friday Finds

Another week down! Time is still ~flying~ over here.

Since venturing out on my own last weekend for a solo roadtrip to see the wildflowers, I’ve been feeling SO much better. I don’t know what it was, but I think the novelty of being at home 24/7 kind of wore off and I was starting to feel super stifled. I just really like alone time? But even those few hours in the car and then out in nature made such a difference for me, so I highly recommend that if you can do it!

Before hopping its Friday Finds, I just wanted to share a quick, basic roundup of practical things I’ve found to be super essential right now (aside from food and toilet paper…). I have a feeling most of us are going to be doing this whole social-distancing at home thing for another month, so hopefully these are helpful!

Quarantine Must-Haves

Caraa Sport Sling Bag – This bag is admittedly a bit bigger than I would’ve expected, but it’s so convenient, especially now when we need to be more aware of what our hands our touching. I love that all of the Caraa bags have a ton of pockets/storage space, and they’re cute, too! The code JORDAN10 will get you a lil discount.

Love Dirty Hand Sanitizer – I’m pretty sure the hand sanitizer thing is going to last *long* beyond this pandemic, so we might as well start using one that’s still good for our skin! I’m obsessed with this chic packaging, but more importantly, this sanitizer has antibacterial AND nourishing ingredients. It is also in stock?

Mask – So Alex and I actually bought really intense one before our trip to SEA earlier this year, but I love that Onzie is making masks out of leftover fabric from their activewear! Plus, proceeds are donated to healthcare workers across America.

My Favorite Yoga Mat – Movement right now is about SO much more than just staying fit, it’s about mental health, too! Even if you have no other equipment, you can still get on your mat for some bodyweight exercises, a yoga flow, or stretching. I’ve been rolling mine out in the little space in our bedroom between the bed and wall, and it’s been perfect!

Friday Finds

How Quarantine Has Changed Our Perspective on Nature – I totally and completely feel this way!! When I went to the flower fields last weekend I felt myself noticing the sound and wind so much, and I’ve found myself looking up and looking around more, even just on our neighborhood walks.

Chrissy Teigan’s Coconut Rice – I LOVE coconut rice, I have to try this!

Here’s What to Use if You’re Out of Butter – Or don’t want to use it, anyway…? I love using greek yogurt and coconut oil (when it makes sense in a recipe!).

Everything Bagel Seared Tuna – How have I never thought of this before?!

14 Online Workout Subscriptions That Cost Less Than $10 A Month – I looove Tone It Up and ModelFit, but I need to check out the others! Also, Melissa Wood Health should absolutely be added to that list.

Dalgona Coffee Frosted Chocolate Cake – I straight up stared at the main photo for this post for a solid 60 seconds before deciding I had to share it with you here. I’ve been making and LOVING Dalgona coffee, but on chocolate cake? OKAY YES.

And that’s it for today, y’all!! Enjoy your weekend – it’s going to be 85 again here in LA, so hopefully I’ll get some Vitamin D!
