Not gonna lie, this week felt like pretty much the longest week ever.

It was a great one, don’t get me wrong, but MAN am I tired😂 There are two things I want to share with you before diving into this week’s Friday Finds (…is this the second week in a row for one? I think so…oops).

First off, I put up another YouTube video and my first one where I really share more about my business/what my life is like on a day to day basis now that I’m really doing my own thing blogging and business wise! You can find that here!

I was also on a podcast this week and in the episode we talks a loooot about my life before this year like my work experience, growing up as a dancer, moving out to LA, doing dance professionally, hand modeling, working 7 thousand jobs, attending b-school, etc. – just stuff I don’t always share on the blog or even Instagram! You can listen to that episode from the Let’s Thrive podcast with my friend Emily here.

I suppose that always happens after travel, though! This week has been super busy but also productive, and for those two things I’m grateful😊 It’s just been so gloomy here in LA and I’m ready for some sun! What’s the weather like where you live?

We do have some fun plans this weekend like going to a Dodgers game, plus I’m helping my friend Erica shoot fitness videos for her YouTube, so that should be awesome!! I’ve been so nostalgic for my dance days, so anything I can do to bring me back to that feeling is always nice.

Anyway, here’s what I’ve been reading this week!

5 Easy Ways to Help Yourself Focus – Can’t honestly name a day when I DON’T need these tips😅 I think the hardest part of my job now is keeping track of 4 thousand things and I need all the organizational/time management tips I can get.

Hello and Happy Friday!! I am VERY happy the weekend is here😊

Friday Finds | Dancing for Donuts

I know I sort of had a short week because of Texas, but the truth about having your own business is that you don’t actually get to take days off… which means that for the days you SLACK off, you end up just having to catch up HARD afterwards😅

That being said, I know that being busy is a blessing, so I will stop complaining! Besides, I’m gearing up for a weekend of fun with friends and family, and I hope you are too, whether you’re celebrating Passover, Easter, or hey, just life in general!

18 Trader Joe’s Products Always in Our Freezers – Ugh, TJ’s for LIFE. I definitely haven’t tried some of these before so I know what I’ll be doing this afternoon…

Salted Citrus Bars – WHAT. EVEN. I actually used to not be a fan of citrus-y desserts but lately I’ve been all about lemon and orange flavored treats!

30 Minute Dance Workout with Aubre Winters – You guys Aubre is legit one of my favorite teachers in LA, PLUS she used to be a dancer. I’m low key freaking out that I can do one of her workouts at home now!

The Things You Should Invest in During Your 30’s – Maybe you’re in your 30’s (or almost like me!), maybe you’re not, but I still think advice like this is valuable! Plus Jacey is quite possibly the classiest woman alive, so that helps.

I know we skipped February favorites (what can I say, time got away from me), but this month was packed with even more awesome finds, especially after attending Natural Products Expo!

If you keep on scrolling, you’ll find some of my favorites in the healthy food category as well as green beauty, supplements, and a workout video I can’t stop doing. I also included a quick list at the bottom for some other stuff that I didn’t photograph/have possibly mentioned in the past, but have been using/eating on the daily in case you’re curious😊

Herban Cowboy Bloom Perfume – I posted about this stuff on Instagram and it might just be my favorite scent EVER. I got mine at Bristol Farms, but I know you can get it online, too! It’s been so fun trying out new non-toxic beauty and Herban Cowboy has some really great products. I also just love the packaging of this perfume – it’s pretty on my counter😍

CHOMPS Grass-Fed Beef & Turkey Jerky Sticks – So you know how I have a raging sweet tooth? Well, I’m trying to change that, just a little😅 I’ve been eating these CHOMPS jerky sticks that are about 100 calories and packed with protein. They’re soooo good, I always have one in my purse, too!

ModelFit 4 Minute No-Weight, Arm Toning Video – On days that I really don’t feel like getting a full workout in (which has been kind of often these days😳) I’ll do some quick abs and this no-weight arm video!! It’s actually the routine they do at ModelFit, one of my favorite studios, so it kind of makes me feel like I’m there. It’s easy to do anywhere and still gives you a burn!

Safe + Fair Birthday Cake Gluten-Free Granola – I’ll be honest with you, I’m kind of surprised I still have any of this left in my pantry right now because it is SO dang good. I’ve actually be obsessed with all the Safe + Fair products I’ve tried (their ingredients are super clean and everything is free of the major 8 allergens!), but the granola is my FAVE.

Georgia Grinders Maple Caramel Almond Butter – You know how I know I’ve learned self control? Because I didn’t polish off this jar in 3 days, that’s how. If I had to pick one nut butter to have forever, this would be it. It tastes like warm pancakes and heaven and love, and I can’t recommend anything more🙌🏻

WTHN Gut Check Herbs – If you live in NY, you may have heard of WTHN already – it’s an acupuncture and wellness boutique, and they just launched their own herb supplements! I’ve been taking the Gut Check ones every day since I’ve been eating more foods that might make me feel bloated (aka lotssss of cauliflower and chickpeas😅) and I truly think it’s been working.

Caraa Sport Backpack – You guys I got this bag a couple of weeks ago and now I won’t go anywhere without it. It’s definitely a splurge but you can tell it’s incredible quality and it even has a few different options for straps! Fabletics – Yes, I’m an ambassador with these guys, but I can say with 110% honesty that the clothes are SUCH good quality and super flattering, especially for the price!

Anatta Market Lavender Essential Oils – I’ve been diffusing this almost every single night and I LOVE it. This company also works with farmers from all over the world, which I find incredible! The lavender oil is from Tasmania.

It started out Saturday morning with a photoshoot bright and early for one of my clients, and then brought me to West Hollywood for my event at Bünda! I’ve written about Bünda before (it’s easily my favorite workout in LA), but I basically just wanted an excuse to bring my friends together to try it…aka a workout party with snacks from some of my favorite companies!

Since I’ve known the owner of the studio for a few months now, I just reached out to her and asked if I could host a class there, and she said yes! So if there’s one thing you take away from this post – it’s that if you don’t ask, the answer is always no (right, mom?!)! So huge shoutout to Katie at Bünda for making Saturday happen😊

After my event, I went to another event put on by Meyenberg Goat Milk (I told you it was a busy day!). I got to try goat yoga for the first time and I could not stop laughing! The best part was that a lot of my friends were there, so we all laughed together😂

The goats basically jump on your back and weave in and out of your legs while you’re in positions like down dog and plank. They also are NOT potty trained though, so they do just go to the bathroom everywhere for the most part…luckily I avoided any accidents😅

After yoga, we were able to taste Meyenberg’s Goat Milk in a chai and granola. It was surprisingly tasty and they kept mentioning they also have a butter, so I’m definitely going to keep an eye out for that. If you like goat cheese, I think you’ll really like their milk! It’s obviously not as tangy, but it’s got a slight hint of that flavor.

Sunday was far more low key, so I’ll just leave with all of that! Have you ever tried goat yoga?! I definitely recommend it at least once😉

What a WEEK, am I right?

Instagram went down for over 24 hours, I caught a pretty awful cold out of nowhere, and couldn’t get used to Daylight Savings time, but hey, we made it to Friday so it’s all good!😂

I’m actually super excited for this weekend because my best friend comes into town TONIGHT and we’ll be celebrating her 30th birthday. We’ll be exploring a bit of LA, but also heading down to Orange County! It’s always fun when people are in town (I had guests last week, too) because it gives an excuse to explore your own city😍

I’ll be sure to do a full recap for you next week, but until then, here’s what I’ve been reading:

Why I Think Blogging Is Here To Stay – You guys. Instagram AND Facebook went down this week (they’re actually down as I’m writing this…) and I’ve never believed in this more. Not to mention that blogs have always been my favorite to both read and write!

Herb-y Kale Omelette with Manchego – Because we all deserve an elevated brunch experience at home in our pj’s🙌🏻

Ab-Quaking Resistance Band Workout – I’ve literally had the same ab workout since I was 13 (what can I say, it works!), but sometimes it’s nice to switch it up! And what CAN’T resistance bands do, honestly?

14 Best Gluten-Free Pasta Options – I’m not gluten free, but I will say that these gluten-based pasta alternatives are not only less inflammatory but way more nutritious. I know I talk about it on here a lot, but Banza is one of my faves!

The Ivy Lee Method for Productivity – I’ve honestly been having much more trouble focusing than I thought I would now that I work from home/for myself! I’m definitely going to be trying this next week.

Everything But the Bagel Crackers – These almost sound too good to be true😍

February Favorites

You guys it’s already almost March and I literally just realized I never even did a January Favorites roundup…THAT’S how quickly time is passing😮

That being said, it’s been an incredibly exciting month filled with change (#entrepreneurlife), events (because that life also requires lots of networking), and fun, too! In fact, I’m actually in Colorado right now for our annual family ski trip, and have been to both Ojai and the Santa Ynez Valley in the past couple of weeks, so fun might be an understatement…

Since I’m technically rounding up my favorites from the last two months instead of just one, I can tell you that the products listed below are for real some of the foods or things I enjoy on a regular basis after having had time to really evaluate what got to make the cut😉

Dancing for Donuts | February Favorites

Banza Chickpea Rice – You guys this RICE holy crap. It’s made out of chickpeas…like WHAT?! HOW. It tastes like orzo and only takes about 6 minutes to make, plus it has 11g of protein and 5g of fiber. I turned mine into “fried rice” by sautéeing garlic and ginger, then adding shitake mushrooms, carrots, coconut aminos, avocado and TJ’s ETBT seasoning!

Ona Cookies – When I tell you guys that I try a lot of little healthy treats/bars, I mean a LOT. I haven’t fallen in love with a snack like these Ona Cookies in quite some time and it’s safe to say that I’m full on hooked. They’re gluten-free and kind of taste like macaroons, but so much better and the flavors are to die for. I think the Coconut Shortbread is my favorite!

Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Gnocchi – Listen. I would be straight up lying to you if I said I didn’t have this at least twice a week for dinner. Maybe three times…it’s just THAT good and that easy! I usually sauté mine in a pan with ghee and spinach, add in a tablespoon or two of pesto, and some parmesan. Well, that or my vegan mac and cheese sauce!

Elmhurst 1925 Plant Based Milks – I know everyone and their mother makes nut milks now, but I recently tried Elmhurst 1925 and was blown away. First of all, the ingredients are always just the nut (or oat) plus water, that’s IT. And lemme tell ya, next time you’re grocery shopping just take a look at the nutrition label on your almond milk. I can almost guarantee you’ll see a longer list of ingredients! These milks are also nice and creamy, especially when you froth them before pouring in your hot coffee😍

Lavva Plant Based Yogurt – Okay I’ve clearly formed many obsessions this month because I swear to you I could survive off this stuff. I’ve tried a ton of different non-dairy yogurts and truly have hated them all…until now!! Lavva is thicker than any others I’ve tried (they’re usually so soup-y!) and the flavors are incredible. I also love that there’s no added sugar!

Mad Fit YouTube Workouts – What’s that you say, you didn’t know about my YouTube obsession? Yep, welcome to my life folks. I don’t even watch tv anymore really😂 One of my favorite things about the platform though is access to free workouts!! Mad Fit posts all kinds of amazing workouts that vary in time and work all different parts of the body. They’re home-workout friendly and require little to no equipment, too!

Osso Good Bones Signature Bone Broth – So it’s come to my attention that not many people know what bone broth is! I think I must just live in an LA bubble because I feel like everyone I know is drinking this stuff – it’s insanely high in protein and nutrients, but fairly low in calories (not that I’m counting, but y’know!). And more importantly, it’s amazing for gut health! If you want to hear more about it, and why I love Osso Good Bones so much, you can watch my YT video from my broth cleanse!

True & Co. Bras – Okay I know this isn’t for everyone, just my ladies, but I had to share it with you. I’ve been searching high and freakin’ LOW for a solid strapless bra that doesn’t dig into me or fall down, and I’ve finally found a winner. I actually might be even more obsessed with the True Body Seamless V Neck Bra, which I was definitely not expecting. It seemed a little grandma-y when I first got it and now that I’ve worn it for the past 5 days, I can confirm that it is straight up seamless magic.

WHEW, sorry that was a long one! I wish I could add at least 5 more things, but those might have to wait since I know you probably have a zillion things you have to do today.

^ that was taken last weekend when we went up to the Santa Ynez Valley for wine tasting! I wanted to write a blog post on it, but we were only there for 24 hours so it wouldn’t have been very long😅

Anyway, I’m pretty happy it’s Friday because today I’m leaving to celebrate my friend Connor’s 30th birthday in Ojai! I’ve never been before, but I hear it’s beautiful, too. And then next week I actually go to Colorado, so lots of travel coming up!!

And I know everyone says that, but I feel like this past months was one of the craziest I’ve had in a VERY long time! It flew by so quickly that I didn’t even have a chance to do a January Favorites post for you, so I apologize!
