June Favorites

Another month has come and gone and I swear yesterday was like February…

Dancing for Donuts | June Favorites

Despite the exceptionally terrifying pace with which time is passing by, I actually ate/read/found some pretty amazing things in June and I’m excited to share them with you! This month was kind of weird for me – because I broke my elbow, I wasn’t taking any workout classes or even working out at all, but somehow found myself with no more free time than usual! Perhaps that’s why this month flew by…

Anyway! As always, most of these items are food related, but we’ve got a couple of random ones in there, too. I hope you find something you’d like to try, too?

Kite Hill Chive Cream Cheese – Okay I never in my entire life would’ve imagined that vegan cheese could be something I loved but you guyssssss. I legitimately prefer this stuff to regular cream cheese and I can tell you that pairing it with smoked salmon (aka one of my favorite food combos of life) is a match made in freakin’ HEAVEN. I got mine from Milk & Eggs but I know they’re at Whole Foods and probably Sprouts, too!

CaseAppSo this one isn’t food, but it is how I got my cute logo on my laptop up there ^. So CaseApp is a website where you can design your own phone cases and laptop skins and the reason I love it is because I am allllll about that branding. I mean, I mostly just love my logo because I also love donuts and Vicky Leta did an amazing job illustrating it, but I also think it’s nice to have these things for you business…or just yourself! They’d made cute gifts, too? I have a coupon code for this one – to get 20% off just use the code 20JORDAN

Oatly Oat Milk – Oat Milk has been quite the craze lately and I can promise you there’s a reason! I can’t speak to other brands ’cause I haven’t tried anything other than Oatly yet, but this stuff is freakin’ MAGIC. I don’t know how they do it – it’s literally as creamy as regular milk and there’s just a veryyy slight flavor but I love it. I’m not allergic to dairy, I just like to have it in smaller doses, but if you are dairy-free and miss milk, THIS is your winner, my friends.

Tonic Beauty Collagen– I’m not gonna lie to you, when everyone started raving about collagen last year I thought it was bogus. I was like, why is everyone trying to push this expensive powder on me when I already have protein powder and biotin gummies? Well I’ll tell you why – my NAILS you guys have literally never been longer. They’re so strong, they don’t break, my hair looks amazing and my skin has been pretty dang clear. I love Tonic’s Beauty Collagen because it’s flavorless, so I can add it to my coffee or smoothies. They also come in to-go sticks, which is amazing for travel! I’m bringing mine to Cabo this weekend? And I promise it’s worth every penny – even my mom has been loving it!!

Adidas White Sneakers – So y’know how I told you I hadn’t been working out this whole month? Well I replaced my normal sweat sessions with walks! I literally was walking over 2 hours a day trying to hit 12k steps a day and I actually kind of loved it? I usually walked while listening to a podcast and I walked in THESE sneakers. They are so stinkin’ cute with just about any outfit and I could pull them off at work, which made my lunch walk soooo much more comfortable than it would be in my booties. They’re insanely comfortable and they’re under $50. Can’t beat kicks that are functional AND actually look good!

Square Organics Protein Popcorn– If there were a healthy version of crack, this would be it. I’m so addicted to this popcorn that I actually snapped at my boyfriend for taking a handful yesterday…it’s that good. My favorite is the Lightly Sweet flavor, but the others are incredible, too! And you can get 20% off with my code ‘dancing.for.donuts’ on their site if you wanna try – I won’t make money off it or anything, but I know everyone loves a good discount?

Big Magic – I know this one seems random, and for a primarily ‘food blog’ it definitely is, but I like to this of this as more than just a food blog. It’s a healthy living blog in my opinion and since I’m all about healthy minds just as much as I am healthy bodies, THIS is a very important read. It might not be for everyone, it’s essentially about creativity and would appeal most to people who have a creative side and like things like photograph

Phyter Food Bars – I know, I know, I’m alwayssss talking about bars on here…what can I say? I’m a snacker! But these bars seriously blew me away. First of all, I think it’s a pretty good sign when something needs to be refrigerated because it means it has fewer preservatives in it, so we’ll start there. The ingredients are clean as ever. Then I will tell you about Phyter’s flavors because OH MA DAMN are they good. The beets and cocoa has been my absolute favorite so far but the kale and apple was freakin’ delicious, too. Highly recommend these!!

Okay y’all, I’m actually off to Mexico today for a much-needed vacation! What are you guys up to this weekend and for the 4th of July?! Hope it’s something fun!

Big Magic is SOOOO good. I had read it right before I went back to school — I think I might need to reread now.

And yes please to the Oatly + Kitehill, two of my faves
