Friday, we meet again?
Thank goodness this week is a short one – with all the post-holiday catching up to do at work and in life, I’m ready for another break! We also haven’t done a Friday Finds in awhile, so I think it’s about time.
There’s been a looooot of advice floating around this internet this week in terms of health, fitness, resolutions, and really just motivation in general. It’s been great for sure, since who doesn’t need more of that, but I’m ready to take all of these tips and put them into action! I think we sometimes spend too much time planning or making lists (I am the MOST guilty of this!) instead of making it happen. The whole point of to-do lists is to check them off, right?
Okay, tangent over…not sure where that came from but I suppose my point is to tell you to just do it. Whatever it is. Take the plunge and DO IT. Like Nike…
How to Spend Less, Save More, and Clean Up Your Financial Act – I know it wasn’t one of my focus words but this year is definitely going to be the year of the hustle for me! I’ve got big things to save up for?
7 Steps for Planning the Perfect Week – I actually love this breakdown on how to optimize your week for balance. It’s hard to fit work and having a life and being healthy and happy into just 7 days, but this outline is a good start!
Why Cooking is Part of My Self-Care Sunday Routine – Full disclosure: I actually wrote this one! I don’t think I’ve told you guys yet, but I’ve started co-blogging for ToBox this year, which is pretty rad?? You can find more of my writing each week on their site!
New Year Glow Smoothie Bowl – If someone could just bring me one of these rn that would be great.
8 Best Podcasts to Motivate Your Work Week – I already listen to a couple of these, but the rest I neeeeed to download! I don’t know about you, but I have a podcast queue longer than most people’s Netflix queues?
Loaded Kale Salad – ‘Cause I’m hoppin’ back on that salad-a-day train this month (as best as I can, of course) and this one is definitely getting added to the mix!
14 Healthy Dinner Recipes to Help You Reset – These all sound delicious. Coming back from the holidays and having to plan meals/cook again hasn’t been the easiest thing in the world, so some inspiration is always welcome!
Alright my loves, have a fab weekend!! And also – if you wouldn’t mind sharing with me some of your favorite blogs as of late, I would looooove to check them out. I feel like I’m always seeing and sharing the same things!
Thanks?

Cooking is one of my favorite ways to practice self care! I love taking the time to try a new recipe on the weekends.

It’s SO fun, right?! I find myself pinning recipes all week and then finally having the time to make them on Sundays is incredible!
I love cooking on Sundays too. It makes my week so much easier.
And I’m going to check out some of those podcasts! The only ones I listen to are political podcasts, and I’m trying to take in less of the negativity that comes with those.

Ugh, I know, those political ones can get pretty intense!! It’s good to be in the know though, for sure!
You always find the BEST stuff! I seriously look forward to your Friday finds. I definitely need to focus on financials this year so we can put more money towards traveling, and less money towards brunch haha.
SO ready to start putting everything into action! And it’s starting with a dietary reset! Okay… AFTER we get back from Vegas haha.
Thanks for the forever solid recommendations!
