Hi friends!
This week absolutely flew by, didn’t it? I think that may have been because I spent half of every day reading and watching the news hoping they would find some answers about what happened in Vegas last weekend. I actually just want to say something quick here, aside from how absolutely horrifying the attack was – just one week before, I had actually been at a music festival on the same fairgrounds as the shooting, and stayed right at the Mandalay Bay, too. I’ve been extra upset about it, just because of this and how my memories on that field are so different from all of the people involved last weekend and to be honest, I feel a bit guilty about it. Like maybe I shouldn’t have had such a great time there, because only one week later it would be the sight of something so awful.
But there’s really no point in feeling that way, because what we really need to do, aside from sending love and light to all of the victims and their families, is to understand what needs to happen to prevent this in the future. We have had far too many incidences like this to continue on the path this country has been. And on a more granular level, can we all just be a bit kinder to one another? I think that may do some good, as well.
Okay, on a lighter note – here’s what I’ve been reading (other than CNN), and I hope you have a weekend filled with people you love. Hug them a little tighter, okay?

I cannot believe all of the horrible things that have been happening to good people recently and as much as we may feel guilty for not being able to help/simply living our lives we have to remember that moving forth stronger is exactly what we should do in the fact of evil. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the events and spreading ways to help the victims. I really enjoyed looking through all of the posts and I hope you’ve had an incredible weekend so far Jordan! <3
