October Favorites (Snacks, Clothes, Beauty & Books!)

I love this time of year so much.

October Favorites | Dancing for Donuts

It’s going by incredibly quickly, so my intention these days is really just to stay present and soak it up! I really think October was my favorite month this year – we went to two weddings, I had a friend come visit, I went to visit another in Colorado, made moves in my business, and wrapped up a big project I’d been working on.

That being said, I’m honestly so glad it’s November because I’m going to be here at home in LA for all of it!! As much asI love traveling, I also love being home…I think this year we might even get a Christmas tree! And I do have plans, but I’m really working on slowing down, embracing coziness and routine, saying yes *only* to opportunities/plans that align with my goals, and honing in on what makes me happy 🙂

Let’s take a look back at my favorite things from last month, which admittedly are mostly not food this time since I was on-the-go for a lot of it!

Bada Bean Snacks – Lately I’ve been loving something crunchy and savory in the afternoon and these crunchy fava bean snacks fit the bill. They’re high in protein but low in calories. So many flavor options, too!

Cocojune Coconut Yogurt – Dairy-free yogurt can be so hit or miss, but this one has to be one of my top 3 faves! So dang creamy and the flavors are amazing/not too sweet.

Malibu Rising – This is my 3rd Taylor Jenkins Reid book and I swear everything this woman writes is unreal. I read it in just over 24 hours and it had me crying/laughing on the plane!

Cotton On Sweat Set – Pictured up top! I snagged this when it was BOGO 50% off (so only $45 total!) and now I regret not getting it in 3 more colors. I’m the biggest Cotton On stan and these sweats do not disappoint! They’re the perfect thickness too,not too heavy, but still warm and cozy.

Paragon Fitness Naked Leggings – Let me tell you, I have tried a lot of leggings in my life and somehow these might the #1 spot. They’re sustainably made but not a fortune, and they literally feel like you’re not wearing anything (but still somehow hold you in?!), are super soft, and flattering. The code DANCINGFORDONUTS gets you 10% off!

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Liner – The competition dancer in me used to think lip liner was that weird stuff that was leftover once the hot red lipstick wore off, but 32-year-old-me knows better now…this lip liner is GOLD and there’s a reason it’s recommended by every beauty blogger!

Beauty Counter Mascara – I’m slowly trying to work my makeup into the “green” category and BC makes it so easy! This mascara is absolutely stunning and doesn’t clump or transfer when I use it on my bottom lashes.

Chella x Velabeauty Eyeshadow Palette – I’m not usually a fun eyeshadow gal but this palette is my obsession! I’ve gotten so many compliments when I wear it, and I think I’m even going to use it for my wedding next year. Love that their products are cruelty-free, vegan, and paraben free!

T3 Curling Wand (1 Inch) – I bought this for half off at Ulta a couple weeks ago ’cause I’m doing my own hair for my wedding too, and everyone said it was the best! I used it for the first time last weekend and I love it. The curls last!

What have you been loving lately?!
