Dancing for Donuts

If you know me at all, you know I’m kind of addicted to exercise. Not in a crazy way or anything, but just because some days it’s the only time I get to myself. Plus, exercise gives you endorphins. And endorphins make you happy!

I generally try to work out 6 days a week mixing up cardio with hiking, dancing, body-weight training, and fine-toning. While I usually like to get my workout done in the am (since apparently it’s proven to be most beneficial and leaves the rest of the day for other fun things), sometimes an afternoon hike or evening gym sesh while watching The Voice is a nice change.

If I can’t find the time or energy to get out of the house but still want to feel better about last night’s ice cream, I do a workout video or two! I have a ton bookmarked that range from 5 minutes to 30 minutes, so there’s never an excuse for lack of time. Doing these quick videos also keeps me on track, working different muscles constantly and never getting bored with the same moves. Some of my favorites are from the Tone It Up girls or Cassie Ho from Blogilates! There are a ton more on their websites and YouTube profiles.
