A Week’s Worth of Free to Affordable Workouts Pt. 2

Hi and Happy Monday!!

A Week's Worth of Affordable Workouts | Dancing for Donuts

I’ll be honest, almost all of last week felt like a wash for me – aside from getting in movement, primarily as a distraction and partially because it always made me feel better, I did the bare minimum with work and ate like trash. I kind of was doing whatever I could to get by while giving myself grace because it was rough! For all of us. And that’s okay.

Now that things are looking up (like *majorly* up!!!!!), I figured I would share the workouts I did to get me through it! I’m still very much doing online classes at home with minimal equipment, especially now that we don’t have a gym room in our new apartment building. I love finding new videos on YouTube, Instagram and also have some ~very~ affordable memberships to different platforms. Between all of those, it’s been easy to switch it up depending upon what I’m feeling!

Here’s what I did last week as I focused on intuitive exercise and staying calm!

A Week's Worth of Affordable Workouts | Dancing for Donuts

MONDAY: Melissa Wood Health Power Flow – This is for my other low impact lovers!! I’ve talked about MWH on here before, but I just love that her workouts make you feel so good and strong without being something you dread, you know? For $10 a month, you really can’t beat it!

TUESDAY: Madfit Dancer Leg Sculpt, Booty Burn & Positions Workout on YouTube – This girl’s workouts are some of my absolute favorite ever!! I obviously love that they’re free, but they’re also fun and you can combine shorter videos to make a longer workout, or just do what you’re feeling!

WEDNESDAY: RoxyFit Signature Full Body – Roxy’s low impact moves always work muscles I legitimately never even knew I had. She has so many different options available that are perfect for small spaces. She’s offering one moth for one euro (I don’t know what that is in USD exactly but I know it’s a good price haha) and also has vids on her Instagram!

THURSDAY: Recharge Method – My good friend Rachel teaches the most amazing class that starts with a moving meditation then combines HIIT with dance & sculpt. It’s always the best freaking vibe and a great workout! She teaches on Zoom but also has some free videos up on her IGTV!

FRIDAY: Barre with Amanda Jenny on Bande – This is a class I just started taking a few weeks ago but I’m in LOVE. I literally look forward to it! Amanda is an incredible teacher and I’m sore for days in the best way. Classes can be purchased individually on their platform for *such* a good price, but the code DFDBANDE will give you your first class free, too!

SATURDAY: off – rest day with long walks outside

SUNDAY: Shine Studio Candlelight YogaJam – I booked this on ClassPass on a whim and I’m so glad I did! I’m definitely trying to do more yoga and stretching, for both my mental and physical health, and this class checked that box while also giving me a decent burn and sweat!

What workouts have you been loving? Are you going back to classes?
