Does anyone else feel like they’re constantly on the move these days?
A little backstory on me: for 5 years I legitimately ran around like a crazy person, driving all over LA from auditions to work to class. When I started my big girl 9-5 a year ago, I honestly thought it would be easier to manage my health, both mind and body, simply because I’d have more structure to my schedule and I’d be in one place. No more snacking on just energy bars (since they were the only thing that’d stay in my car in the heat all day) and wondering when and where I’d get my next meal from. The truth, though? Sitting at a desk all day means wanting to eat out of boredom, the temptation to eat garbage for lunch since I can go wherever I want, and having less time to make a healthy dinner at night once I’m back from my commute, too.
That being said though, I’m trying to find healthy habits that work around my schedule since that office life probably isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. But even if you don’t have a desk job, it can be really challenging to make health-conscious decisions if you’re constantly going from place to place. I know as a student, or mom, or any working human for that matter, having something right at your fingertips that’s going to give you natural energy and nutrients is key, and often hard to come by. Enter: ridiculously convenient single-serving packs of Kiwami Greens.
GUYS. I’m not even kidding when I say this stuff is a game. changer. It’s literally the easiest way to make sure you’re getting your greens in, especially when you need a little boost (helloooo 3pm slump). Inspired by the Japanese tradition known as Aojiru, a nutritional greens blend known for its nutritional properties, Kiwami provides an easy way to reap the benefits of high quality young barley leaf, ashitaba (fiber, beta-carotene, vitamin E, calcium & polyphenols), matcha and sencha. It’s non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free AND has prebiotics, which sustain probiotics. This means that if you’re taking probiotics or eating fermented probiotic foods like Kombucha or kimchi, Kiwami Greens makes these “good bacteria” even more effective and are basically pure gold for your gut.
Can I tell you the best parts, though? You know what, I’ll just go ahead an list them for you right here…
1. This stuff legitimately tastes AWESOME. If you’re one of those people that loves Starbucks unsweetened matcha lattes, I promise you will love Kiwami Greens too because it literally tastes the same but is sooo much better for you (and cheaper!).
2. You can mix it with water or your favorite milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk, but I bet it tastes delicious with cashew or coconut milk, too!). This makes it even easier to enjoy since you can literally get water anywhere. If you’re home though, you can totally put it in a smoothie – my recipe can be found below!
3. You can keep it in your purse, at your desk, in your gym bag, wherever since the packets make it easy to take on-the-go and don’t need to be refrigerated.
4. It dissolves sooooo much easier than regular matcha (and doesn’t have that bitter taste!). You know how regular matcha just kind of clumps together and you need that special whisk or a blender to make it blend? Yeah, Kiwami doesn’t need that.
If you’re one of those people that likes to hide their nutrients in smoothies, I like to blend 1/2 frozen banana with 1 packet of Kiwami, 1 cup kale, 1/4 cup frozen mango and almond milk or water to taste!
If you’d like to try Kiwami Greens for yourself, just head over to their website and use code SUMMER10 for 10% off your order!! Let me know what you guys think, ’cause I’m absolutely in love with this stuff.
Have a great rest of your weekend 🙂

Right?!?! I know you don’t do coffee, but this stuff is amazing!! I’ll bring you a packet next time I see you 🙂
This sounds AMAZING! I’m addicted to matcha so this is perfect. I especially love that it contains prebiotics. I’m going to have to try it now!
