New Favorite Non-Toxic Beauty & Skincare Products

Hi and Happy Friday!!

Dancing for Donuts | New Favorite Non-Toxic Beauty Products

I’ve mentioned on here before how I’ve been trying to switch over to a more non-toxic, green beauty routine including everything from bath products to makeup, and I’ve recently tried so many amazing new products.

I wanted to share them with you today in case you’re looking to do the same but aren’t sure where to start, since that’s how I felt a few months ago! Let’s just hop into it, shall we 😊

Dancing for Donuts | New Favorite Non-Toxic Beauty Products

GoldFaden MD Detox Gel Moisturizer – I’ve been using GoldFaden products for months now, but just recently broke out the gel moisturizer. I’ve been dealing with some pretty annoying breakouts on my chin and I have to say, I looove the way this stuff feels! Definitely hydrating without a thick feeling, which is good since a facialist told me I “definitely have oily skin and my pores go all the way to my hairline…” lolol LOVE THAT THANKS GIRL.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil – So even though I have oily skin, I’m still apparently supposed to be using oils (and potentially so should you!). When your skin is too dry, it overproduces oil, so keeping it hydrated is a must. Though this doesn’t actually smell like rose, which I was hoping for, I do love how soft and smooth my skin feels after I use it! It’s supposed to be good for anti-aging, all-over nourishment and repair, too.

Twice Toothpaste – This is actually Lenny Kravitz’s brand, which I already think is cool, but they make toothpaste that is vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free and non-GMO. It’s also NOT charcoal toothpaste, which I appreciate, because I heard that stuff does zero to prevent cavities. Get the TWILIGHT one if you want to try it out – it’s peppermint, vanilla and lavender flavored and it’s amaaaazing!

WELL CBD Massage Cream & Oil – I grabbed these products at Bristol Farms (their Natural Living section is basically my Disneyland) after a friend suggested I try CBD for my back pain. I know there’s a constant debate about whether or not CBD actually works, but I swear to you guys, I can actually feel this relaxing my muscles when I put it on. It’s not as intense as an Icy Hot or Bengay, but I think that’s a good thing since those have lotssss of chemicals in them😅

Good Clean Love Wipes – This one is exclusively for my ladies! I don’t know about you, but I can’t use ALL wipes, they just don’t work for me if ya know what I’m sayin’. I think this brand in general is amazing (they use only organic, natural ingredients with zero parabens, synthetics or petrochemicals!), but these wipes in particular are a new staple for me. I keep them in my purse and use them after workouts (and pro tip: don’t stay in your sweaty workout clothes either, if you know what’s good for ya👍🏻 )

Tower 28 ShineOn Lip Jelly + SuperDew Highlighting Balm – Tower 28 juuuust launched and I’ve been using their products since I received them in the mail a week ago! The Lip Jelly is the most amazing feeling lip gloss (not sticky at all and hydrating!) and the Highlighting Balm works amazingly well considering it’s not a traditional highlighter! They have a face mist that I love, as well.

Asarai Earth Tones Face Mask – Aside from this being the most beautifully packaged skincare ever, it just FEELS good. Asarai is an Australian brand that was founded by a Naturopath and everything is super “clean” when it comes to ingredients. This mask doesn’t leave your skin feeling super tight like most masks, even though it helps de-clog pores, brighten, and even out skin tone. They have a retinol and cleanser that I’m super excited to try, too!

What about you – have you been loving any green beauty products or companies lately? I’m so impressed by all the options out there these days and glad non-toxic living is becoming more of a significant topic!

Transitioning to Clean Beauty: Skincare & Beauty

Happy Monday and Happy Presidents’ Day!

Something I’ve been talking about a bit more on my Instagram is non-toxic beauty, and if you remember, I actually shared some of my green beauty haircare faves last month, too!

I just feel like if we’re putting in the effort to fuel our bodies with good food and move them so we can build strong muscles, why not pay a little closer attention to what we put on them, as well? Here’s a roundup of some of my favorite non toxic beauty products (both skincare and makeup) in case you want to move into a more green beauty routine too, and aren’t sure where to start!

Intelligent Elixirs Tinted Broad Spectrum SPF 30 – You guys. This product is at the top of this list for a REASON. I’ve been using the IE tinted moisturizer for about 4 months now and it is my holy grail beauty product. It’s a light coverage tinted SPF that somehow makes my skin glow and evens out its tone while protecting me from UVA/UVB rays. It’s A MUST.

Intelligent Elixirs Total Eye Repair Cream – Another favorite from the IE line is their Eye Cream! In all honesty, I would’ve put every product from this company on this blog post, but that wouldn’t have been very fun for anyone😂 That being said though, this cream is super moisturizing and you only need a tiny bit, so it lasts forever.

Summer Fridays Overtime Mask – So this company (started by two influencers) was super hyped up on social media last year when it launched. I didn’t give in when they launched their first mask, but this one is an exfoliating mask that smells like fall and pumpkin and wonderful cozy things. You know me, I put that sh*t in my Sephora cart faster than you can say basic. And you know what? I LOVE it. i had been looking for a good exfoliating product and this takes the cake!

Pacifica Dreamy Youth Day & Night Face Cream – If you’re looking for affordable, effective green beauty, Pacifica is the move. I’ve been using this lotion for over a year now and I can find it almost anywhere (Target, Amazon, Ulta, CVS I think…). It’s lightweight but not so much so that I don’t feel it working. And, like it says, it’s great for any time of day so it’s a one stop shop!

BeautyCounter No. 3 Balancing Facial Oil – Another thing I started using last year during my foray into skincare? Oils. I love ’em. I received this one in a swag bag after an event and it’s sooooo nice. Again, a little goes a long way, but I love the feel of this on my skin and it’s instantly hydrating. I usually put it on at night either under a light moisturizer or even just alone if I don’t need too much hydration.

Mineral Fusion Mascara, Bronzer, Foundation & Sheer Moisture Lip Tint –  And last but not least, I found a non toxic makeup company I’m obsessed with! I’ve been using Mineral Fusion’s products for about a month now and they are SO nice. I know non toxic makeup can be on the pricier side, but I promise you don’t lose quality on this whatsoever. The foundation is silky smooth, the mascara is natural and perfect for everyday wear, and I can’t go a day without using that moisture lip tint. I’m actually hosting a giveaway with them on my Instagram today, so stay tuned!

So there ya have it! Tell me in the comments if you guys have any green beauty favorites – I’m always looking for more great products to try! Thanks so much for reading and have a great rest of your day😊
