A Week’s Worth of Free to Affordable Home Workouts

It’s now been four months of working out at home (woah that’s crazy to think about), and I’ve honestly been loving it!

As you can see up there, we’re actually *so* beyond lucky to have a little gym room in our apartment building that is open (with restrictions), so I’ve been going in there a few times a week to use the elliptical and watch HGTV, then lift some light weights. Otherwise, I’ve just been working out in the space between my bed and bedroom door, and that’s been great, too 🙂

I shared a post like this on my Instagram and it really resonated with people, so I wanted to share one here, as well! I basically only do super affordable or free workouts on a regular basis, so aside from having the elliptical, these are great for absolutely anyone no matter where you are, what equipment you have, or what your budget might be.

Below is an overview of the workouts I did last week, plus some more resources down at the bottom!

MONDAY: ShineStudio Pilates Remix – I’ve done this class two weeks in a row and I’m obsessed! It’s a fun mat pilates class with such a good burn. Two of my close friends own Shine and I used to go there 2-3x per week. I miss it so much, but it’s only $10 to take your first class with them and $40 a month for unlimited classes. Such a good deal!

TUESDAY: Arms & Abs Sculpt on BeRevolutionarie – This one was full of moves I’d never done before and it had me sweatingggg! BeRevolutionarie is a new platform (I have a few friends that are instructors on there) and that’s actually offering a free 14 day trial, too!

WEDNESDAY: Obé Fitness Power Workout – I have been obsessed with Obé since the start of quarantine and every single class I’ve taken I’ve loved! They have a ton of variety and their membership is super affordable, but they do offer a free trial, as well.

THURSDAY: RemyKam Booty & Abs Workout – Remy’s free workout on IGTV are killerrrrr you guys!! I love them so much. They’re hard but the moves are innovative and efficient. She has amazing energy and playlists, too!

FRIDAY: Whitney Simmons Back Workout – I became obsessed with Whitney because of her YouTube channel and personality, but she has the *best* strength training workouts, too!! She posts a zillion on her Instagram, but she also has a paid app that I’m tempted to try.

SATURDAY: FroyotoFitness Arms & Abs – My girl Mary Kate is probably the best trainer I’ve discovered during this time! Her workouts make me feel strong and energized. They’re tough, but she keeps you motivated! I love her workouts on IGTV/Instagram Live, but she also offers affordable Zoom classes, as well. They’re $12 for an hour!

SUNDAY: Rest.

Some other platforms I absolutely love are Melissa Wood Health ($10 a month and she has meditations, too!), PopSugar Fitness on YouTube, and MadFit on YouTube. I’ve also shared a huge list on this post a couple of months ago!

What workouts have you been loving lately? Are you still working out at home or hitting the studios again?

I’ve seen you post about Obé workouts and I’ve been super curious! Going to sign up for the free trial! I also have been loving long walks!

YAY! I swear of all the paid platforms I’ve tried, that one is my favorite and such a good value for the variety, too!! Wish we could go on a long walk together 🙂
