I’m comin’ atcha today with a good ol’ fashioned WIAW, or what the kids now call a “What I Eat In a Day” on the YouTubes. Back in the day, food bloggers would paint a real picture of what their day looked like in meals with super raw photos and share it on a What-I-At-Wednesday. These posts are not meant for people to compare or anything like that, but more just to get ideas!

As you guys knows, I work a 9-6, so I like to share some of the things I eat to help me get through the day at my desk and then afterwards. Here’s what I truly ate yesterday, and I fully apologize for the smoothie photo which looks less than appetizing, but was actually quite delicious…😂

~7:30am – hot coffee made in a French press with 1/2 serving of collagen, pumpkin pie spice, stevia & frothed cashew milk. Two things: 1) I use 1/2 a serving of collagen instead of a full serving because it makes it last longer and is cheaper😅 2) I highly recommend investing in a frother. It’ll change your life!

~9am – green smoothie (which is what I have like 6/7 days a week for breakfast!!). I switch up what I put in here almost everyday, but it’s generally 1/2 frozen banana with 1-2 frozen strawberries, 1-2 handfuls of greens, cashew milk/filtered water, 1 tsp maca, 1 tbsp peanut butter powder, 1 scoop protein powder. Sometimes I add flax or chia seeds, or my favorite almond butter instead of the powder, since it has a bit more staying power!

~11am – literally always hungry at this time without fail. I reach for 2 clementines (yay for clem season!) since I’m sick and need some extra Vitamin C. I also heat up the rest of my coffee from this morning and add a little bit more from the pot at work. Shoutout to BAB for the best reusable jars ever!

~12:15Banza chickpea pasta wheels with TJ’s vegan kale pesto, 1/2 mashed avocado, chopped cherry tomatoes and sea salt. This lunch has been on repeat for me!! It’s insanely easy to make, has a ton of protein and fiber, and healthy fat! I also love that I can eat it cold – sometimes the microwave at our office has a line😂

~2pm – a carrot, orange & ginger juice from Marvé! I ran home during lunch after running some errands and found a package from them waiting for me! I know had clementines already, but this juice hit the spot. I love having something sweet after lunch!

~4pm – snack queen strikes again with some celery (which I thought I hated, but actually kind of love?) and hot tea for my throat. I also had 2 un-pictured fig cookies from NatureBox that I shoveled in too quickly to take a photo…

~6:30 – Instead of a workout tonight, I opted to meet up with some other food bloggers who were in town from Michigan!! I finally got to meet my friend Sari, who I talk to on Instagram all the time, her friend Lindsey, and then my friend Hannah who also lives in LA! We went to Gjelina for some of the most delicious food EVER (in Venice).

~7:30 – dessert at Pressed Juicery Freeze! I got half vanilla, half strawberry and it was delish. I don’t usually eat this early, but it was actually kind of nice to be able to digest before bed! I was home by 8:30 and went for a walk with Alex. Such a fun night😊
