Friday Finds

Y’all it has been a WEEK. The fact that I’m posting this at 7pm on a Friday night really just sums it all up.

Personally, it’s been long and tough but nothing compares to what the Asian American community is dealing with right now. My thoughts are with anyone struggling and though I’ll never be able to walk in another human’s shoes, I know that hate is never the answer. I say we love ourselves and each other so hard that we drown out the ones who can’t see that every single person on this planet deserves an equal chance at happiness <3

In other news, and to do a complete 180, Justin Bieber dropped his new album today and it’s giving me life, things in LA are finally opening up again, and the days are longer…I’m into it! A few other things I probably haven’t mentioned on here yet: I was featured on my friend’s podcast Lit Up with Lo and I also wrote a review over on The Fascination on Purple Carrot and Brightland Oils (spoiler alert: both are fantastic!). This weekend I have some outdoor plans with friends, a couple of baking classes, and am hopefully doing some deep ~spring cleaning~ because I desperately need it.

For now, here are my favorite recent links from around the web…

How to Support the Asian American Community During this Surge in Hate Crimes – One of the most important things we can do right now.

Air Fryer Grilled Cheese – I tried this and you guys. YOU GUYS. So good.

How and Why to Do Pigeon Pose for Better Sleep – Pretty much need to do this every night because sleep has been *awful* lately.

Pineapple Coconut Cake – Well this sounds DELICIOUS. And getting me very excited for summer…

Why You Should Eat Leftover Sweet Potatoes – Okay I literally had no idea!

10 Places You Wouldn’t Expect to Clean this Spring – This is me promising myself and you that I will clean them all this weekend.

The 5 Unexpected Cities Gen X Wants to Move to in 2021 – I’m a Gen Z and I honestly would love to move to any of them.

Have a wonderful weekend!!!
