You guys. We made it. I don’t know how it happened and I certainly don’t know where time went, but it’s the last day of 2020 and I’m SO ready for a new year!!
It’s been one of *many* life lessons (how I’ll never take the small things for granted again, that the people in my life are the most important thing, and how planning is great but going with the flow is better). I persisted through hard days, but also celebrated the good ones, and truthfully, made many memories! I know I’m luckier than most, but I have to say, I’m grateful for this year!
Somehow, we managed to fit in our big trip to Southeast Asia just before the pandemic hit the US, and one to Colorado, a month on the east coast in the summer, and time back home in NY for Christmas. I went on a solo roadtrip up to see the poppy fields for the first time, celebrated a cozy Easter and Thanksgiving with Alex and Ovi, moved into a new apartment, and spent more time outdoors than any other year. I realized that not everyone grows with you, but the people that do are your tribe.
My friends and family helped get me through it, and so did my couch, tv, books, and food. Lots of food…so here’s a roundup of some of my absolutely favorite things this year, as inspired by my friend Tori!
