New blog design, who dis?!?
I went a little MIA the past couple of weeks because I was busy getting my new website up and running! It had been at least 3 years since I’d touched pretty much anything on here, but I’m kind of getting to the point in my business with Dancing for Donuts where it’s super important for me to have a user-friendly, presentable blog…and especially one I’m really proud of 🙂 So here she is!
You didn’t miss a *whole* lot (since y’know, we’re still quarantined and all), but a few things happened! I entered May with an open heart and an intention to compare myself to others less than I have been (yep, that trap is REAL).
I made/ate LOTS of yummy food (that I mostly posted on Instagram and Tik Tok), tie dyed some fun clothes (more on that below), and threw my dog an epic first birthday party just the three of us!
I also posted another YouTube video about a weekend in my life and some spring favorites (since I missed wrapping them up at the end of April), but I still want to share those with you on here! I know videos aren’t everyone’s thing.
Spring Favorites
Vital Proteins Coconut Collagen Creamer – I’ve been stepping up my coffee game and this creamer is next level delicious. It’s not the cheapest thing in the world (a canister is about 12 servings), but it makes my mornings so much better!
Yes And sustainable sweats (pictured up top!) – I know I know, I do NOT need another piece of loungewear, but I couldn’t resist these! I’m trying to shop more “sustainably” and this company is amazing in general, but the joggers in particular are super lightweight so perfect for Cali, and are actually long enough for my legs. I’m a size medium for reference!
The Last Mrs. Parrish & Behind Closed Doors – Two mystery/thriller books I read last month and could barely put down! I’ve been falling in love with reading again here in the q and it makes me so happy!
All things Tie Dye – Listen, I know this is basic, but I’ve literally been a tie dye fiend since summer camp so I don’t feel all that badly for jumping on the trend again now? It’s seriously SO fun and I made a a crew neck sweatshirt and t-shirts I’m obsessed with in a cost-effective way!
Little Words Project Bracelets – Who knew jewelry could make a person so happy?! I’ve been wearing these non-stop because they add a pop of color and the sweet words on each one make me smile.
Physique57 Online – I know there are a *ton* of fitness platforms out there, but one I’ve really been loving lately is Physique57! I love the instructors, I always work muscles I never knew I had, and it’s all super injury friendly! You can use the code DFDP57 to save when you sign up, too?
TV/Movies: Hollywood, Bad Education, Outer Banks, and more on this post
And that’s it for now! I’ll be back again SO soon and am excited to share more on my new and improved blog 🙂 Thanks for sticking with me!
