There are two things I really love most in life: dancing and coffee.
Visiting new coffee shops is one of my absolute favorite things to do in any city, but especially my own! It’s such a simple but fun activity, doesn’t cost too much money, and is enjoyable whether you’re with friends or by yourself. It’s also a perfect way to explore since you can grab your cup of joe, then walk around or visit other places nearby! There’s always something new to discover.
I’ve put together a list of my favorite coffee shops in Los Angeles, and as someone who’s lived here for over a decade, in three different neighborhoods, there’s bound to be something on here no matter where in the city you are or plan to be.
With the help of Proxi, a free web app and tool that makes it super easy to create custom interactive, collaborative maps for websites and across social media, you can now browse all of my recommendations here! You can also add to my map in case I missed your favorite coffee shop in Los Angeles, or create your own map to share.
Each pin on the map has the coffee shop’s name, website (in case you want to check café hours or menus), and a short description. You can also add images, and even crowdsource recommendations for your map, plus create a key if you include different types of locations like restaurants, stores, landmarks, museums, fitness studios, etc.
Proxi is ideal for creators like me looking to share recommendations or guides for any place, but also for anyone planning a trip like a bachelorette party or vacation. You can create a visual itinerary and map if you’re visiting somewhere new, then share it with anyone joining you!
Be sure to bookmark this page with my map of coffee shops in LA so you can pull it up next time you need an adventure or plan to come to the City of Angels!
What category should I make a map of next?! Maybe donut shops…
