MAN this week was a long one! I’m super looking forward to having some me-time this weekend…anyone else?! I’ve been seeing people taking baths with those gorgeous and colorful Lush bath bombs a lot lately, which may be good motivation to clean my tub and then hop in there! I’ve never tried using one, but they seem glorious.

I don’t know why, but this week not only felt long, but kind of hard to get through, and not even because work has been overly stressful or anything. I think after the holidays I have a bit of a slump, just because the excitement of Christmas is obviously gone and there’s not much on the horizon. I kid you not, I literally looked up last-minute tickets for a Hawaii getaway at the end of the month randomly during my lunch on Tuesday…who knows if I’ll actually pull the trigger but it sounded SO lovely in the moment!

Anyway, back to the usj! Here’s what I’ve been reading this week:

How to Get Healthy on a Budget – Allllll about these tips. And that discount activewear business is REAL. I was just talking to my mom about this yesterday but there is NO need to spend $100 on great workout pants anymore. Save your money for something else!

    I was just looking at a little bed and breakfast about an hour away from where I live. The idea of getting away for just a night sounded amazing in the moment!

      omg you have to gooooooo!!! that sounds so perfect. i’ve been looking at airbnb’s all over the place but i don’t actually know if taking time off right now is feasible 🙁

    Ohhhh not gonna lie, I’ve TOTALLY booked an impulse Hawaii trip and it was the best decision EVER! Sooooo yeah, click ‘book it’ asap :).
    Scott’s Cheap Flights is my FAVORITE service ever. I literally get excited every time I see an e-mail from them in my inbox!
    And 30 min workouts are my jam. Work smarter, not harder people! I’m not a 20 year old college student anymore, I don’t have 2 hours for the gym!

      waitttttt how have i not heard of scott’s cheap flights?!?! totally googling that asap. and YES to that 2 hours in the gym thing – i used to be all about it but now i’m like, a real adult with responsibilities. there are pros and cons to that…haha
