Friday Finds.

Man have I been all over the place this week.

Dancing for Donuts | Friday Finds.

I seriously need this mug ^

I’m in the middle of move, while partially staying with my cousin in West Hollywood, working on a ton of blog content for you guys, getting ready to celebrate my birthday, and go on vacation. And let me tell you, that vacation could not come at a better time! I seriously think reading blogs is one of my favorite ways to de-stress, though. It kind of always has been 🙂 Here’s what I’ve been reading this week…

Good Digestion Smoothie – I seriously need to start adding herbs like mint and basil to my smoothies. Do y’all ever do that?!

Trail Mix Coconut Butter Cups – These are so beautiful!!! I’ve never made coconut butter before, but I’ve been seeing so many recipes with it…need to get on that stat!

5 Make-Ahead Salad Hacks – You know me, all about those meal-prepped lunches. So much cheaper and healthier than what you can buy on a lunch break!

8 Ways to Help After Charlottesville – Because hearts are breaking all across this country and it is unacceptable. Let’s educate ourselves and make a change.

4 Ways to Make Your Natural Deodorant Work Better – I can attest to these since I successfully switched over to natural deodorant! S/o to Schmidt’s Lavender & Sage!

Hope you find time to unwind and hit the re-set button this weekend!!!

I love finding mugs at HomeGoods, Michaels and those crafty/home stores! One of the best joys in life 🙂

Hope you have a great weekend,

I especially loved the article on Charlottesville – it’s incredibly refreshing to see a piece written about how we can help and heal, rather than one condemning and critiquing. I teach at a school with an underserved population, so a lot of tricky questions have been coming up from our students. Articles like these are such a good resource for encouraging hope!

I can only imagine how hard it is to be a teacher or parent during times like these – how do we explain what’s going on, what we can do, and what it means for our future? I loooooved her article SO much
